a-radio-with-guts

"a-radio-with-guts" is a surgery of radios. One can find loose guts, broken teeth, and amputated ligaments. The piece focuses on the unpredictable sounds that are created when the radio is misused. By linking sections on the back of the radios, unpredictable and wild pitches which are rich in texture and dynamics are created. The performers must tame the wild circuit in an attempt to organize material.
